The design for this family home centred around creating a sense of calm and light while opening up the entrance to feel a connection to the outdoors. The basement was excavated to add a play zone for the kids, the major addition being an indoor slide from the main level down into this zone. Richly layered textiles complement the warm, natural accents of sandstone and timber to create a family home that is both elegant and comfortable.
